Holdings Description:History of photography section includes photographs by William Henry Jackson, Timothy O’Sullivan, Edward Weston, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Hosef Koudelka, O. Winston Link, Minor White, and others; Social Ethics Collection on Social Reform in the United States, 1895-1910, including photographs by Francs Benjamin Johnston, Percy Byron, J.H. Adams, Lewis Hine, and many anonymous photographers; Social History of America Collection contains a large group of negatives and prints from professional photographers’ studios, 1929-1965. Major subject area is American social life and customs, including the history of wedding photography and death.
